Summary
Worked with one other developer on this term-long (4 months) project. The overall goal was to provide effective querying of UBC metadata relating to courses, prerequisites, past averages, room scheduling, and timetable creation.
Full-stack application split into four sprints:

My Contributions
• Test-driven development practices using Mocha and Chai as the basis for our testing environment
• Responsible for reading and parsing UBC's courses dataset containing over 60,000 files in raw JSON form
• Bootstrapped our frontend in React, linking server-side endpoints to our user interface
• Organized and maintained sprint issues and pull requests through GitHub

Summary
The Vancouver Infectious Diseases Centre needed changes towards their outdated WordPress website. Alongside another developer, I contributed to the website's complete redesign and overhaul. Highlights include UI theming, elegantly displayed information, events management, news postings, and contact page functionality.
My Contributions
• Redesigned, rebuilt, and maintained VIDC’s previously outdated WordPress Website
• Educated client on specific admin and guest use cases

Potluck Event Planner

Summary
Potluck is a cross-platform application that aims to solve food wastage problems after potluck events by providing the ultimate event management experience. Users are able to host detailed events, send out invitations, and pledge food items.
The project consisted of 23 members split into 4 main teams: UI/UX (Figma), Backend API (.NET Core 2.0, Swagger), Frontend Application (React), and Native Mobile (React Native, Expo).
My Contributions
• Part of the Native Mobile iOS/Android team
• Implemented login and register functionalities
• Managed token-based authentication (token storage, decoding JWT)
• RESTful pledge functionalities
• Incorporated aspects of agile development (incremental releases, scrum stand-up meetings, code reviews)

The Jibe
Summary
A lightweight, responsive web application built with React and Laravel to provide simple alternatives for managing work-related tasks. Its main purpose serves to leverage the Teamwork API (developer.teamwork.com) into an internal facing tool to view filtered tasks, log time, and prioritize issues.
My Contributions
• Implemented front-end components based on mockups provided by the client
• Initial implementation on the feature to log time on individual tasks
• Replication of Teamwork’s Add New Task functionality
• Worked on overall task displays and task management using RESTful API
• Essential project documentation (scope, stage plans, status reports, risks and issues)

A comprehensive web application providing course/instructor management and in-depth schedule generation through drag and drop features. The project was built from the ground up based on given scheduling algorithms, courses, instructors, dates, security measures, and named features.

Summary
Split is a web application where users can register and login to track personal expenses individually or among friends. The project consisted of 9 team members separated into front and back-end teams, plus a middle-man to provide adequate code reviews and feedback.

• Designed and fleshed out user profile displays and functionalities
